USING 247GROOMED IS EASY!

Let's walk you through the steps to use the 247-Groomed Neck Hairline and Fade Guideline Template for self-haircuts:

Step 1

Put them together

The tool comprises of a Band and a Guard that can be connected by inserting the channels on the Guard into the sockets of the Band. Both channels need to be inserted into the sockets for proper alignment. The band can then be worn comfortably around the forehead and the Guard can be placed comfortably behind the neck.

Step 2

Proper Band Placement

The tool acts as a barrier preventing the clippers or the razors from getting into unwanted areas during haircuts. For the most effective use, the user must keep the Guard close to his hair and there should not be any gaps below its bottom edge.

Step 3

Trimming the Neck Hairline

For various style needs, the user can position the Guard on their neck area and use an electric clipper to trim hair below it. The Guard's edge serves as a Hair Trimming Guide, limiting the clipper's reach only to the intended area. Applying gentle pressure with the other hand on the Guard ensures precision and satisfactory results.

Step 4

Blending the Hair

For a gradual transition from short to long hair, follow these steps: Position the Guard, adjust the clippers combs/guards, and trim hair below its edge. Move the Guard higher and repeat these steps for a well-blended finish on the back of the head. When using two comb lengths, the smaller clipper comb with an open lever will effectively remove any visible hairlines. With the help of this tool and practice, flawless haircuts are easy to achieve.

Step 5

Shaving the Neck Hairline

Position the Guard precisely where you envision your neck hairline to be. For optimal results, we suggest starting from a lower point and fine-tuning the neckline to your preference. To ensure that the clippers don’t go under the Guard: Firstly, position the Band as low as possible to bring the Guard close to the neck. Secondly, place your hand on the Guard and press it against your neck while using the razor or clippers. We highly recommend taking a slow and deliberate approach before using the razor for the best results.

Step 6

Detach the Guard

As you proceed, detach the Guard from the Band, allowing the Band to take center stage as a versatile guide for achieving seamless blends on the temples and below the crown. The Band alone can assist you in creating many hairstyles. The curved side of the Band serves as a guideline for creating various fade haircuts, such as drop/low/medium/high fades.
